Jeanette Medina, MS

Jeannette provides comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations both in English and Spanish from ages 6 through adult, in person. Jeannette’s experiences have included working within public schools as both a school psychologist and program specialist over the past fifteen years. Jeannette’s areas of expertise include, Bilingual Evaluations, Learning Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression and Anxiety.

Jeannette received a Bachelors of Science Degree in both Psychology and Spanish Studies from Santa Clara University. While attending Santa Clara University, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain. In Seville, she took courses on the psychology behind learning a second language and had the opportunity to volunteer within an elementary school, supporting students learning a second language.

Jeannette received her Masters of Science Degree and credentials from San Francisco State University and holds Pupil Personnel Services Credentials in School Psychology and School Counseling. While earning her master’s degree, she conducted research with doctoral students in the UC Berkeley’s Educational Psychology program for two years.

Jeannette incorporates the most up to date, evidence based practices, with resources and support. She honors the privilege to get to know each individual she works with, in order to truly tailor an action plan that best fits their learning profile. Her passion is to help others understand how their brain functions, as learners, in order to empower them to advocate for their own needs at school, work or within the community.
