Staff Bio
Nicole Bennett, LCSW
Therapist
Virtual and In Person Availability
I’m passionate about helping my clients feel more peace in their inner world so they can more fully enjoy their lives. My therapeutic approach is warm and collaborative. I create a safe place to talk openly and explore together with my clients their internal experiences, patterns, and what they’ve taken with them from lived experiences.
My work is informed by understanding of the brain and nervous system, and draws from a variety of therapy modalities to individualize the process towards change to each client. I’m also passionate about helping children and teens improve their self esteem and navigate their emotions in a healthy way, involving their caregivers as integral supports.
I specialize in working with anxiety, stress-management, and impacts of trauma and life stressors. I received a Master’s in Social Work with a focus on mental health from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. My background includes six years of experience providing therapy to children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds with a variety of mental health presentations.
