As a clinical social worker, I believe it’s essential to recognize that therapy can be as diverse as the individuals seeking it, and that’s why I incorporate various styles and creative methods tailored to each person’s unique journey. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where the therapeutic relationship takes priority, allowing clients to feel at ease and move forward with confidence. I utilize approaches that help my clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. I teach my clients skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and stay calm during difficult situations, helping children, teens, their families, and adults find balance between accepting themselves and making positive changes.
I have worked in school settings, providing support to students ages 8 to 18 facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, and lack of motivation. In addition to my work with students, I have also extended support to numerous families, helping them navigate their unique challenges.
Outside of work, I’ve been a passionate CrossFit coach for 7 years, firmly believing in the powerful connection between mind and body and the importance of movement for a happy, healthy life. I believe strongly in the mind/ body connection and believe that movement is instrumental in living a happy and healthy life.
