Position Overview:

The Clinical Director will oversee the clinical operations of the group practice, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. This role involves managing a team of therapists and psychologists, coordinating clinical services, and implementing best practices in mental health therapy and psychological testing. The Clinical Director will work closely with the Executive Director and administrative staff to enhance service delivery, supervise clinical staff, and contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the practice. This role also includes maintaining a part time case load of therapy clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership:
    • Provide clinical oversight and leadership to a team of mental health professionals.
    • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and best practice standards in mental health therapy and psychological testing.
  • Staff Supervision and Development:
    • Supervise and support clinical staff, including conducting regular case reviews and providing feedback.
    • Facilitate ongoing professional development and training opportunities for clinicians.
    • Will run monthly case consultation meetings and be available to staff for ongoing consultations when needed
    • Conduct performance evaluations and support staff in meeting their professional goals.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to monitor and improve clinical outcomes.
    • Review and update clinical policies and procedures as needed.
    • Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
  • Client Services:
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services to clients.
    • Manage client intake processes and ensure appropriate case assignments.
    • Address client concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain 15 direct client hours per week
  • Program Development:
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and expand clinical programs and services.
    • Identify and address mental health needs through innovative program initiatives.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes for the practice.
    • Monitor clinical budgets and resource allocation.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Community Outreach:
    • Represent the practice in community and professional settings.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations.
    • Promote mental health awareness and advocacy efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. We will consider a masters in clinical/counseling psychology (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW)
  • Licensure: Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, leadership and team management, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems, and experience with program development and quality assurance.
  • Certifications: Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) are a plus.

Pay:

$140,000+ annually (depending on how many clients being seen)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Self-determined schedule
  • Weekend availability possible
