Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Tim Cooper is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who assesses Autism and ADHD for teenagers and adults.
He earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA accredited doctoral program at George Fox University where he had a range of clinical training experiences. These included training in a small rural public school district, working with veterans diagnosed with PTSD and co-occurring substance use disorders, and serving university students as a therapist. He went on to complete his internship in Maine at the Riverview Psychiatric Center and his postdoctoral work was completed serving individuals with psychologically complex profiles in Wasco, CA.
Dr. Cooper is also a proud caregiver for an autistic family member and has multiple other family members who are neurodivergent. He has made specializing in the assessment of neurodivergence his career because it has personal meaning in his life. He can relate to the struggles families face trying to find clinicians who understand autism and ADHD beyond the conventional stereotypes. Therefore, he strives to ensure his clients feel heard, understood, and walk away from their time with him satisfied that their loved one has an accurate diagnosis.
