Clinical Supervisor

At the heart of my work as a clinical supervisor and psychotherapist, is a deep appreciation for the connection between our environment and our personal mental health struggles. I know that our struggles are born not just from our biology, but are also the understandable results of the
lived experiences we have: the relationships we have/do not have, the material resources we have/do not have (e.g. money, housing, food, etc.), and the larger systems at play (medical system, education system, political system, criminal justice system, etc.).

My Approach

I draw from and guide my supervisees in applying therapeutic approaches that acknowledge and actively attend to this connection between environment and personal mental health struggles. These approaches include: Parts Work, Attachment-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Liberation Psychology, and Narrative Therapy. (As a therapist, I specialize in using these approaches to support adults through navigating the challenges of estrangement, especially those who identify as young adults, Asian Americans, and caregivers.)

Whether as a therapist or as clinical supervisor, I bring deep presence, humility, flexibility, and responsiveness to the impacts of people’s intersectional identities and lived experiences, including past traumatic experiences. Your unique imprint in this world deserves recognition and tender care.
