Virtual and In Person Availability
I have a warm, compassionate, and positive approach to therapy to help my clients feel safe and at ease when addressing their concerns. I understand that taking the first step in seeking help may feel scary or uncomfortable, so I meet my clients where they are at in their journey for exploration and change. My work is informed by understanding that people are part of a bigger system that may be impacting their current situation. In therapy I explore biological, psychological, social, and spiritual components and utilize evidence-based models such as CBT, Trauma Focused-CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. When working with children I will often use play and art interventions to provide them with the appropriate materials to support them in emotional processing and coping. Through my clinical experiences working in multiple community agencies, I have helped many children, teens, adults, and families work toward their therapeutic goals by helping them identify the origin of their struggles, provide user friendly interventions, and allow ample space to process their emotions.
