Staff Bio
Jennifer Patane (she/her)
Clinical Therapist
Virtual and In Person Availability
I have been trained in the Process Model of Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy. I have worked extensively with individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and stress.
When our needs are unmet or injured, it can result in distorted thinking and ineffective behaviors. We may feel unable to move past anxiety, depression, despair, or anger, and move into self-protection, isolation, and/or avoidance in order to cope. I utilize a client-centered, flexible, exploratory approach, meeting clients and couples where they are and giving space to process their stories, wants, and needs.
I approach clients with curiosity, deep compassion and care, making you feel seen, heard, and understood. I create a nurturing, nonjudgmental, compassionate environment where it’s safe to express feelings and emotions. I believe that we will identify root issues and move beyond coping to restoration and healing.
I would be honored to walk alongside you and work towards healing.
